You weren't aware that placebo affect is extremely powerful and that magick largely works off of the power of your belief and therefore pushing someone to do something just so you can see what happens can get them seriously hurt
You can give someone with crippling pain a sugar pill and tell them its a cutting edge pain killer and they'll be walking normally within the day, magick works largely on the same principle while still somehow having its own laws as a force(edited)

I think it's wrong to deliberately seek out someone to trick or persuade into trying it
If you want a practitioner to try it, you could join an occult server or forum and present the idea as someone that doesn't practice magick but is interested in learning more about it, but trying to get people to unknowingly be your guinea pigs will come back to bite your ass. Curses might not be as effective on you due to your lack of belief, but if you go far enough the harassment will have the same effects on your health and mind
I personally try to avoid curses and hexes, I prefer blessings and charms to encourage opportunities for positive growth. But my view is very rare, and anyone willing to do curses can't be guaranteed to not take occult action against you even if they are right hand

I read in a post on medium that if a child headmate switches to control an adult body, the body needs a lower dose of a drug like a child's dose, and that a headmate with perfect eyesight can switch to the body and make it have perfect eyesight. That is something I can test if I make a tulpa, improving my eyesight. Has anyone here had body changes like that from switching? (a bit odd to say right after asking, but I'm off to bed D: )(edited)
